Hey ya'll. Just thought that I'd post a blog and show off some pics from my trip to St. Louis with Dave. I forgot my camera the two times that I drove by the temple so I don't have any pics of it :(, but i got some good shots of other stuff. We had some good times, and Dave was able to help a lady that he taught when he was on his mission there do a bunch of temple work for her family members. I only got us horribly lost twice (yeah, it took me like 2 hours one day to find the metro station which was about 15 minutes away.....) and I managed to not get us killed in the ghetto :D
Spongebob was there to greet us at the Hertz car rental place. It was like 11:30 at night and a friendly face was lovely to see :D
Dave and Janette Perry (the lady that went through the temple)
Kiki (Janette's granddaughter), Dave and Janette
Dave and Gail (another lady that he taught when he was in the ghetto on his mission)Dave, Janette and Yours Truly

The former St. Louis ghetto God-Squad of Elder Brice, Elder Flinders and Elder Graham
Me thinking that I'm a rockstar, hanging out in the hotel room waiting for Dave to wake up from a cat nap.Me thinking i'm some sort of pink haired supermodel, goofing off waiting for Dave to wake up.
The front of the totally awesome Catholic cathedral that we went to see...that's being renovated.
The bell tower from the awesome cathedral.
A gorgeous stained glass window in the Union Station mall
More stained glass in the mallThe coolest mall I've ever seen
The archways in this mall were incredible!
Bush Stadium baby!!!! Home of the Cardinals! :D
The Third base entrance to Busch Stadium. We walked up the stairs from the metro train and this is the view that we got :D
We had super good seats to see the Cards take on the Brewers :D
If any player during a certain time hits a homerun into Big Mac land then everybody in the stadium can take their ticket to a Mcdonalds and get a free Big Mac. lol!!
The gorgeous park that surrounds the arch. I can't believe how green and lush everything is down there!!
If you stand at the base of the arch and stare up, this is what you see. It's totally overwhelming.
I loved this angle.
Another angle that I totally loved.
The mighty Mississippi river, as seen from high above it inside the arch.
A view of downtown from inside the top of the arch.
In some parts of the city they've made pedestrian malls, where they've pulled up the modern streets to expose the cobblestone streets from hundreds of years ago!! sweet!
Summer vacation, here we come...
